Alison was a solicitor and partner in several national practices for over ten years acting for unions and employees and is an experienced Employment Tribunal litigator. She has also worked as a trade union official and an HR advisor, so has considerable practical experience of workplace dispute resolution from both an employer and employee point of view. She is an experienced negotiator of settlements and termination packages and is an accredited mediator.
Alison has a particular interest in disability discrimination issues, having previously worked at the former Disability Rights Commission.
Alison has been qualified to practice as a solicitor since 2003.

Madeleine trained at Hogan Lovells where she worked mainly for employer clients. In 2004 Madeleine moved to Rowley Ashworth, which merged with Thompsons in 2009. During that time, she worked for employee and trade union clients, dealing with all aspects of employment law and managing a team of solicitors.
Madeleine’s practice includes HR consultancy for small and medium sized companies and organisations as well as employment law advice and representation for both employee and employer clients. Madeleine is experienced in preparing and delivering training and in producing bulletins and other legal updates and analysis.
Madeleine has been qualified to practice as a solicitor since 2003.

Claire has been a solicitor and partner for over 10 years in national law firms, dealing with all aspects of employment law and managing a team of solicitors. She has combined running Employment Tribunal litigation with a substantial advisory caseload, providing advice on complex legal issues in a clear, straight forward manner. Claire is also experienced in preparing and delivering training to clients.
Now based near Ilkley in Yorkshire, Claire works with clients in Leeds, Manchester and the surrounding areas. Claire’s practice includes HR and employment law consultancy for businesses and schools, as well as employment law help and advice for employers and employees. She has a particular interest in helping SMEs and new employers deal with HR and employment issues more effectively, with the right employment contracts, procedures and legal support in place.
Claire has been qualified to practice as a solicitor since 2001.

Jasmine van Loggerenberg
Jasmine works with both employers and individuals across a wide variety of industries and sectors. She advises on all areas of employment law with particular expertise and interest in maternity and sex discrimination issues, having acted in a number of cases reported in the national press. She also regularly advises senior executives on all aspects of employment law including exit negotiations. Jasmine is a skilled negotiator with a high success rate in negotiating settlement at an early stage, often finding creative solutions to achieve favourable outcomes for her clients.
As well as advising on employment law matters Jasmine delivers accessible and enjoyable training seminars and workshops for employers and HR professionals on all aspects of employment law. She also writes for the Practical Law Company.
Jasmine qualified as a solicitor in 2004. She worked for over 10 years for a national law firm top-ranked in both the Legal 500 and Chambers directories for employment law before she moved to Workwise Legal.

Pritti qualified as a solicitor in 2001 and has since worked as an employment law specialist at four highly regarded firms. Her particular niche is acting for employees. She has been instructed by individuals (including directors, senior executives and professionals) in matters covering the entire spectrum of employment law from grievance and discipline to unfair dismissal and complex discrimination litigation.
Pritti is also an experienced and talented trainer. She delivers employment law training seminars and workshops to employers and HR professionals in an accessible and enjoyable way.

Since qualifying as a solicitor in 1996, Judith has worked for the Engineering Employers’ Federation, Simmons & Simmons LLP and Salans. Judith has over 25 years’ experience in the public and private sector, acting for employers and employees in all aspects of contentious and non-contentious employment law, industrial relations and HR advisory work. Prior to qualifying as a solicitor, Judith worked for a trade union and in employment law publishing and industrial relations research.
Judith also practices as a workplace mediator, is a coach and a Master NLP practitioner.
Judith has a particular interest in employee engagement and culture and ethics in the workplace and loves using her many years of experience in lively training courses. She is a very experienced practical trainer covering the whole range of skills involved in people management. She is at ease training all levels of seniority in an organisation.
